Forms of Payment: Pink Flamingo Pool Company accepts checks, Venmo, Zelle and credit card payments. A 3.5% fee will be applied on credit card payments for pool equipment installation and major repairs.
Checks: Please make checks payable to: Pink Flamingo Pool Company. A $35.00 fee will be billed for insufficient funds.

Pink Flamingo Pool Company - Important Service Notes
Water Levels: Pool owner is required to maintain the water level at least halfway up the pool skimmer’s opening. If the water level is low upon arrival, the technician will turn off the skimmers or the equipment to prevent damage to system. If water levels are not adequate, service will be re-scheduled, and is subject to a $20 charge if it becomes a common occurrence.
Accessibility: There will be no credit issued to customers for service not provided due to locked gates, animal problems, or any other problem beyond our control that might prohibit servicing your pool or spa. If Pink Flamingo Pool Company is scheduled to clean the pool and is not able to access the backyard or is turned away for any reason, Pink Flamingo Pool Company may charge $20.00 unless a twelve-hour notice is provided and depending on the situation.
Excessive Debris & Storm Cleanup: All standard service is billed at a rate of 1⁄4 per hour, and any additional labor charges will be billed at a rate of $31.25 per each additional 15 minutes. Potted plants placed near the pool’s edge will be charged an excessive debris rate if any fall into pool and an additional chemical charge will be applied for phosphate removal.
Pets: We at Pink Flamingo Pool Company feel that our pets are a part of our family and know that our customers feel the same about their pets. The pool or spa / hot tub owner is responsible for containing and restraining pets or domestic animals when Pink Flamingo staff is on-site. Pink Flamingo Pool Company is not responsible for pet injuries due to chemical exposure or from escaping from open or unlocked closures because customer failed to keep animals restrained. If you do not have a separate fenced off area of the yard for your dogs, please see that they are either in the house or in their kennel/crate on your service day(s).
Cyanuric Acid Level: Pools with high levels of cyanuric acid (CYA) will be diluted to under 100 ppm. A free chlorine level greater to or equals to 7.5% of current CYA is needed for proper sanitation. Pools with CYA higher than 50 ppm will be placed on a six-month algaecide (PoolRx Cartridge or Jandy Mineral Cartridge). These two products are not included in the Purple or Pink chemical packages.
Missed Service Calls: In the event your service falls on a holiday, service will be rescheduled, and may be 1-3 days before or after the normal scheduled day of service. In the event of rain or inclement weather on your service day, your pool/spa will be cleaned to the extent weather permits and chemicals will be added.
Termination: This agreement may be terminated thirty (30) days after either party receives written notice of intent to end service. This agreement may be terminated immediately if all balances are paid in full regardless of any customer dispute.
Invoices: Pink Flamingo Pool Company issues statements at the beginning of each month for our regular maintenance services. First month’s payment is to be made in advance. We offer customers fifteen (15) day net to pay their statements and a thirty (30) day grace period. Invoices past 30 days’ due will be assessed a $25 late fee and 1.5% monthly interest dating from the time of the invoice. If the account is more than sixty (60) days past due services can be terminated and any money owed will be due.
Pink Flamingo shall not be responsible for any damage to property due to acts of nature, fire, vandalism, misuse or abuse. Nor be held responsible for damaged caused by lawn service, construction, organic stains, etching, corrosion, underground leaks or deterioration due to equipment breakdowns or malfunctions. Customer should be aware of normal deterioration of equipment that occurs over time due exposure to chemicals, sunlight, and in some cases, other corrosive materials (i.e. salt). The customer is responsible for maintaining correct water level at all times. Also, Pink Flamingo Pool Company is not responsible for any damages or deterioration cause by failure of customer to perform other services recommended by Pink Flamingo Pool Company, or by failure of customer to properly maintain pool and equipment between visits.
If customer fails to pay invoice or legal action becomes necessary under this agreement for any reason, the customer agrees to pay for all attorneys’ fees and/or debt collection fees incurred by Pink Flamingo Pool Company. In addition, by signing this agreement, client agrees to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the North Carolina state courts systems (whether Superior Court, Small Claims Court, etc.) located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. For any dispute customer has or may have, whether related to the terms of this agreement, services provided by Pink Flamingo Pool Company or any other issue with Pink Flamingo Pool Company. Pink Flamingo Pool Company has the right to select binding arbitration conducted under the rules and procedures of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under an AAA- certified arbitrator chosen by Pink Flamingo Pool Company in Charlotte, NC. To start arbitration, Pink Flamingo will give notice of the election to arbitrate. This notice may be given after a lawsuit begins and may be given in papers filed in the lawsuit. If such notice is given, the dispute shall be resolved by arbitration under this Agreement and the rules of the arbitrator. If Pink Flamingo Pool Company elects to arbitrate a claim, neither Customer nor Pink Flamingo Pool Company will have the right to pursue that claim in court or have a jury decide that claim. Also, Client’s ability to obtain information from Pink Flamingo Pool Company and to appeal is more limited in arbitration than in a lawsuit. Other rights that Customer would have if Customer went to court may also not be available in arbitration. The fees charged by the administrator of an arbitration may be higher than the fees charged by a court. If Pink Flamingo Pool Company elects to arbitrate a claim: (1) Customer or Pink Flamingo Pool Company may not participate in a class action in court or in class-wide arbitration, either as a representative or class member; (2) Customer or Pink Flamingo may not participate in a private Attorney General proceeding in court or in arbitration; and (3) claims brought by or against Customer may not be joined or consolidated with claims brought by or against any other person.
Client acknowledges that Pink Flamingo Pool Company has a substantial investment in recruiting, hiring, training and retaining its employees. Client further acknowledges that Pink Flamingo employees who will be providing services under this Agreement have entered into non-competition agreements with Pink Flamingo. Client agrees that neither he nor she, nor anyone acting on his or her behalf (including but not limited to family members, fiduciaries and/or agents) will not privately employ an employee, or former employee, of Pink Flamingo for a period of two (2) years following termination of service from Pink Flamingo or while Pink Flamingo is currently continuing to provide service to Client. Client also agrees that neither he nor she nor anyone acting on his or her behalf will not solicit or assist in the solicitation or hiring of an employee of Pink Flamingo for any other position providing pool services to another individual (including Client), whether through another agency or privately. Client further agrees that he or she will not allow a current or former employee of Pink Flamingo to come to Client’s house as friends or under any other pretext without Pink Flamingo written consent nor will Client make the claim that the employee or former employee of Pink Flamingo is not being paid and therefore that this provision is invalid. In the event that Client violates this provision, Client shall be held responsible for liquidated damages and any reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs associated with collecting those liquidated damages. The amount will reflect the cost of recruiting, screening, and training the employee. In addition to this remedy, Pink Flamingo is entitled to obtain injunctive relief against any violation of this Agreement without notice to the Client, without the necessity of proving actual damages and without posting bond. These remedies shall be cumulative and not mutually exclusive. Pink Flamingo reserves the right to pursue any other or further remedies at law or in equity to enforce its rights under this agreement whether in litigation or arbitration at Pink Flamingo discretion. Client may be subject to damages and any costs, including attorneys’ fees, incurred by Pink Flamingo regarding violation of this provision or any other provision in this document.
Customer Satisfaction: Our goal is your complete satisfaction. In the event work is not completed to your satisfaction, please notify Pink Flamingo Pool Company at 704-957-0038 immediately upon noticing the issue. We will address the issue and provide any necessary corrective action in a timely manner. Your happiness is our priority.
