Pink Flamingo Pool Company is committed to providing a healthy and comfortable working environment for all employees. In line with this commitment, the company has adopted a "No Smoking and Vaping" policy to promote the well-being of its workforce and maintain a professional atmosphere.

 

Scope:

This policy applies to all employees, visitors, contractors, and any other individuals present within Pink Flamingo Pool Company’s office, warehouse, and vehicle premises as well as Pink Flamingo Pool Company’s clients’ property.

 

Definitions:

1. Smoking: The act of inhaling and exhaling the smoke of burning tobacco or any other substance.

2. Vaping: The use of electronic cigarettes, vape pens, or any other electronic smoking devices that produce aerosol or vapor.

 

Policy Guidelines:

1. No Smoking or Vaping Locations: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited within all indoor areas of Pink Flamingo offices, including but not limited to workspaces, meeting rooms, restrooms, hallways, vehicles, common areas, and clients’ premises.

2. Health and Safety Concerns: The prohibition of smoking and vaping indoors is based on the potential health risks associated with secondhand smoke and vaping aerosol exposure, and is aligned with our commitment to maintaining a healthy workplace.

3. Communication and Awareness: Pink Flamingo will communicate this policy to all employees and ensure that they are aware of the rules and regulations. Signs may be posted in visible locations to remind individuals of the policy.

 

Consequences for Violation:

Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary actions, including verbal warnings, written warnings, or other appropriate measures, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation.

 

Review and Revision:

This policy will be periodically reviewed to ensure its effectiveness and may be revised as needed to align with changing regulations or company requirements.
